Here is a quick and easy bedroom DIY hack for dog owners for helping you get a good night’s sleep.

Dog shake head, tags jingle, baby wakes, chaos ensues. Sound familiar? Getting woken up in the middle of the night by jingling dog tags is never any fun.

Ambiance is more than just visual. The sights, the sounds, the scents... They all play into how your home makes you feel.

Whether we’re trying to get a good night’s sleep… or conducting zoom calls from our home offices… we don’t want to hear the annoying jingle of dog tags (or cat tags). However, where I live… I need to maintain id on my dog (Ms. Buttons) at all times in the event of an emergency or need for quick evaluation to my basement in the event of a tornado or dangerous weather conditions. (And yes, she's microchipped.)

​So here is a quick and easy solution to this common problem for dog owners and pet parents.

Safety experts warn not to put your dog’s name on their ID tag. • Twist off nut
• Lift quieting strap and slide tags onto screw
• Reapply tab and secure with nut
• Slip tab through ring on collar
• Push tab onto nut

• Thread collar through holes in rubber tag
• Enjoy the quiet!

My mommy attached my rubberized id tag with her contact  info (phone number) hidden from strangers yet easily accessible if I were lost.
